What is Hypely?

Hypely is product discovery platform that lets you test and review all kinds of products. Write your own reviews and check out what other testers had to say!

How does it work?

Hypely sends you products to test for free. All you have to do in return is share your opinion of those products, it’s that simple.

 

How do I become a tester?

In order to become a tester and take part in our product tests, you need to register through the website. Once registered, just login and apply to the tests you are interested in!

If you are a suitable fit, you will be selected for a product test. Only the selected applicants will be able to take part in a product test. If you are selected, you will receive a free product to test at home. Then all you need to do is share your opinion of the product on the Hypely website.

If you’ve already tried one of the products featured on Hypely yourself without taking part in a test campaign, we’d still love to hear what you think! At any time after registration, you can leave a review on the Hypely website.

Your opinion of a product helps and guides our Hypely members, as well as makes daily shopping decisions easier for everyone!

 

How do I apply for a product test?

To apply for a product test, first you must be registered to the website.

Once you are registered, login and visit the pages of the products you wish to test.

Click on the “Apply now” button when you find a product you want to test and then fill in the form carefully.

Click on "Confirm" and then a message will appear to tell you that your request has been taken into account.

 

Who can become a Hypely tester?

Hypely.me is based in the UAE and will take applicants in the MENA region depending on each campaign needs.

 

How are the participants of each test chosen?

Once you apply to test a product you will be asked to fill out a survey. Your responses to the survey will then be cross-referenced with the criteria of that particular test to figure out whether you are a match.

Each product test has a limited number of participants depending on the number of products available. We involve as many testers as we possibly can!

To get the most accurate reviews possible, we base our selection on the information provided in the survey – there’s no such thing as “first come, first served” at Hypely!

To keep things fair, our employees and their family are not allowed to join the tests we organize.

 

How do I know if I have been selected for a test?

For each test, we specify the registration deadline. Then we send an email to notify our applicants that they have been selected to be testers.

 

How do I give my opinion on a tested product?

To give your opinion on the tested product, first login, then go to the page of the concerned product. Click on "Submit a review" and write away!

 

I have been selected, but I have not received my product yet. What should I do?

No need to panic! It might take several weeks before your products get to you. We keep all your contact details and are doing our very best to deliver your product to you.

However, if after a month you still have not received anything, send us and e-mail and we will answer you as soon as possible to find a solution.

Don’t forget to check: are you sure you have confirmed your delivery address and phone number?

 

Will I be paid to test the products?

We do not pay testers to take part in a product test. However, the products you receive at home are totally free of charge, including delivery!

 

Do I need to have a Facebook account to participate in a product test?

No, it is necessary to have a Facebook account to get involved.

You only have to register on Hypely.me but our Facebook fans always find out a little sooner when new tests are available online.

 

What kind of products can I test?

On Hypely you will find all sorts of products to test.

There are 2 types of tests:

1. New products that have just launched on the market: you do not know them well yet and we would like you to discover them.

2. Products that you already know and love! We might send you some of the products you already use and can’t live without.

 

What size are the products I receive?

The products sent for the test are offered in either the normal size that you can find in the store, or sample sizes. Our purpose is to offer you the largest range of products to test.

 

What do you mean by “Suggested Retail Price” in the product description?

The suggested retail price stated in the product descriptions or on the test pages is the suggested price the brand has for their products. However, it is up to each retailer to fix freely the resale prices when the product is on their shelf. Basically, this is an indication of the average price you can purchase the product for in stores.

 

Why are there sometimes comments on products if the registration deadline for the test hasn’t passed yet?

Most of the products that you can find on Hypely are already available in stores.

So what you’re seeing are the reviews of users who are already familiar with the product and have tested it without being selected for a test.

You can leave a review on any product if you’ve already tried it, regardless of whether you’ve tested it through a product test or not.                              The benefit of being part of a test vs. leaving a review separately is that you receive the product for free if you are selected for a test.

 

I left a comment under “Submit a review" but it isn’t appearing

This is probably because the comment that you posted is not a review of the product itself.

We do not publish comments like "I want to test this product," or "I would like to test this product.” We want your opinion and only your opinion! The publishing of your review can be delayed, generally this takes no longer than 48 hours.

Any comments which would cause a prejudice towards the brand of the tested product without basis will not be published.

I have been registered for quite a while, but I have never received any product to test…

In order to participate in a product test and receive a free product, you must be selected. You are selected according to your profile or according to the questions answered at the time you register for the test.

Since we have a limited number of products, we cannot send products to everybody. Please be patient and apply for as many tests as you can in order to increase your chances of being selected.
